Moche loves to play. She loves to run and zoom around the house and backyard. She'll hop up on furniture with her eyes alight, hoping you'll come over and join her for some play. Play for her can be as simple as being held in your arms while she gives you silly muzzle punches and love bites on the nose. At other times she'll bounce all over the place, not so much focused on a game as just releasing all that pent up puppy energy.
There is a game that is sure to bring her running each time though -
playing tug with her yellow bear. Her former adopters gave her Yellow
Bear and she would shake, toss, and run around but never
destroyed him.
Yellow Bear is a little beat up on one side of his face, but he is in remarkably good shape for being in the grasp of a terrier!
Maya wants...
While Moche is gentle with Yellow Bear, she lives with my personal dog Maya, who is decidedly not gentle with plushies. In fact, the only plushy that Maya gets are the Tuffy or Mighty Tuff toys that are rated 10, the most tough of all! Maya still rips these open and destroys them, but they at least last a little longer!
To preserve Yellow Bear from the predations of Maya, he only comes out when I can play with them together. Both dogs are eager to latch onto Yellow Bear and have a grand time tugging together. If I release Yellow Bear then Maya can easily jerk it out of Moche's mouth, so I hold onto it to make sure Moche gets to have her fun too.
