Love at the Bravern

Sometimes I walk one dog for the purpose of doing some clicker training along the way. While you can train multiple animals at a time it's impossible to beat one-on-one training for most behaviors. On this day I walked Cody on his own, so this meant Moche walked with Maya and Sappho.
The Bravern has lots of pots and planter boxes and a seemingly endless varieties of smells. No matter that my personal dogs have been coming to the Bravern for well over a year, they still have to thoroughly investigate each day.
Moche of course joins in. This is a favored pee spot though so it surely has some of the most interesting smells.

Several staff at the Bravern love dogs and we make rounds at lunchtime to visit them. They are universally fantastic with the foster dogs and help me work with any of the special needs dogs. The videos below are part of that daily ritual! The first one is of Brittney, who is the greeter at John Howie.
And second is Nancy, the concierge for Bravern. She and Sappho have a special bond and I've told her that she has a standing offer to adopt Sappho if she ever wants a dog! Sappho is so in love with her that she has even learned what "Nancy"  means!
